Here are the steps to get onboarded with Kanda:

  1. The first step is to signup which you can do on our website. You can signup either using your Google or Facebook details or you can fill in the brief signup form.
  2. The next step is to input some basic information about your business such as your company name or trading name.
  3. We then ask you to subscribe to Kanda via Direct Debit. You have the option to either pay monthly or annually with a 20% discount.
  4. After this, we require Directors or owners of the business to verify their IDs. You can either use a passport or driving license to do this and will only take a minute.
  5. Once your ID is verified we ask for some more information about your trade such as your trade body number if you have one.
  6. The last piece of information we require is for you to upload your public liability insurance.
  7. Following this Kanda will review the above and get your Ts&Cs sent out to approve - usually, we can have you live within 24 after this.

All in all the whole process can be done within a few working days and if you get stuck at any point you can reach out to us.

What would lead to us not approving your business?

Given that we have to put businesses onto our FCA license there are two main reasons why we would not allow you to join Kanda.

  1. There are outstanding CCJs against the business or a director of the business
  2. Lots of negative reviews or press online about the business

If you do not pass onboarding we will happily cancel your Direct Debit and process a refund.
